Our black bean-based burgers are packed with protein, veggies, and – best of all – flavor. Replace traditional ketchup with salsa and top with grilled summer vegetables like onions, red peppers, and charred scallions. Wrap the whole affair in a big leaf of Boston lettuce for light and meatless meal!

Ingredients

Black Bean Burgers from our produce department 

Heirloom Tomato – Sliced 

White Onion - Sliced 

Green Leaf or Boston Lettuce 

Roasted Red Peppers  

Avocado 

Whole Scallions 

Olive Oil 

Directions

Brush scallions, onions, and any other vegetable topping with oil and char on grill. Chop scallions after charred.  

Brush burger with oil and grill until heated through.  

Lay lettuce down and place Black Bean Burger down first and top with your charred veggies, fresh avocado or optional salsa. Enjoy!
