The Giorgio name goes back to 1928 when Pietro Giorgi built his first mushroom house in Temple, Pennsylvania. It was the beginning of a proud and long-standing tradition of growing high-quality mushrooms– a tradition that the third generation carries on at Giorgio.
Each of Gilbertie's nutritious plants is grown with care in their Connecticut nursery. Their custom organic soil blend took them four years to perfect, ensuring the highest amount of essential oil and taste in each herb and green.
