Wine -- February 2008
Dear Wine Lover:
February isn't only a month of love, but also a month of beauty. And I can honestly say we've chosen some very beautiful wines to feature for this short period of time. Beauty of form, beauty of aroma, beauty of palate--wine is that romance of many dimensions that we all search for.
The first feature --
the Arrocal Tempranillo 2005 -- is richly purple and berry-like, serve this with a romantic dinner at home. Read more by clicking
here.
My next choice is a new addition to the February wine selection: an intense red from Argentina called
Maipe Malbec. The name "Maipe" holds a special meaning for the Argentine people. Find out why in the
second article.
Our third selected wine is the
Nessa Albarino 2006, a crisp white that provides a refreshing balance with our first two decadent reds. Like the Tempranillo, Nessa also originates from Spain. You can learn more about it by reading the
third article.
Also, remember to mark your calendar for our
FREE wine events happening this month. We can't wait to see you there.
Cheers,
John Coleman
