This one's made with 85% chardonnay, 15% viognier. Aged in French oak barrels, the wine is still crisp and filled with white peach and pear flavors alongside the toasty vanilla. Maipe Chardonnay is an elegant and luscious wine that's well balanced.

Where does the name "Maipe" originate? Maipe was the Lord of the Winds for the ancient Andean people (the wine is produced in the foothills of the Andes Mountains). Naming this wine after Maipe attests to the importance of the land, the soil, and the climate in the cultivation. Maipe is produced in the Luján de Cuyo subregion of Mendoza by the Pelizzatti family.
