Fruit from Chile is one of our great resources, as their seasons are the inverse of ours. That means that although it may be cold here, we can secure ripe, fresh produce from there-especially grapes. For Chile, the grape season is November through May, as ours is May through November.

Hacienda Manflas is located in a remote area of northern Chile, with the land irrigated by the Manflas River. The sparsely populated area allows for farming without insecticides, and the grapes are both packed and grown here. Hacienda Manflas is also concerned about their workers, providing homes, shopping, and education to both adult workers and their children. We respect and admire this dedication to the land and the people who work on it, and it shows in the high quality of grapes we receive from them.

Here are the varieties we'll have the pleasure of selling:

Thompson-the best selling table grape in the country! These oval-shaped grapes are a clear green and have a mild, sweet flavor.

Black-long and large, with a deep blue-black color and a sweet flavor

Superior-very large and sweet; often used as a decoration. The flesh is firm and crisp.

Red Globe-very large and oval shaped, with a color somewhere between black and violet; the flesh is very sweet.
