There is a very good reason why we sell only one brand of strawberry. The way we see it, if one brand is consistently the best tasting and highest quality, why bother selling anything else? That's why you'll only find Driscoll strawberries in our stores. For over a hundred years, the Driscoll family has worked to develop and grow the finest varieties of berry.

Driscoll strawberries more than deliver when it comes to taste, aroma, and texture. The red fruit has firm yet velvety flesh, a smooth sweet flavor, and that lush berry scent that makes your mouth water. And Driscoll works to bring that taste and texture every time--to every strawberry.

Health Benefits:
Aside from being a tremendous source of Vitamin C, strawberries are also rich in phenols. Phenols make strawberries a heart-friendly food, as well as giving them anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.

How to select your strawberries:
Look for symmetrically shaped berries that have a nice sheen and brilliant, even color. Berry tips should not be too seedy and the shoulders should not be white. Look for strawberries that are clean and dry with fresh unwilted caps (calyx).

Storing strawberries
All berries are best stored in cooler temperatures (such as the refrigerator). Try to buy your strawberries as close to when you intend to use them as possible. Strawberries can be kept in a refrigerator up to a week.
It is important not to wash your strawberries until you are ready to use them, as moisture will accelerate the breakdown.
