Grocery -- February 2008
Dear Food Lover:
February is the month to cherish our romances and honor our presidents, but we think that it should also be the month to cherish great flavors and honor our taste buds. We have several new items to tell you about, along with a couple "old favorites."
The first is a
NEW dipping oil, bottled by the owner of Leggio's restaurant in Hawthorne New Jersey. Read more in our
first article.
Our
second and
third articles describe
bruschettas and bread toppers made by Private Harvest in California. Add in some Leggio's dipping oil and slices of crusty bread, and you have Italian-style tapas!
You can continue this very promising menu by checking out
Alexia Foods' Garlic Baguette in our frozen section. Our
fourth article tells more.
Whether it's Valentine's Day or not, end your dinner on a sweet note with
Heavenly Soufflés, the focus of our
fifth article. Each box contains two rich, chocolate-y, miniaturized versions of the classic French desserts that are ready to serve in just minutes! You'll find these in the frozen section too.
While it's always wonderful to look forward to a delicious dinner, those tasty everyday snacks are important too. Take a look at
Brown Cow Yogurts, as well as ready-to- bake cookie dough from
Immaculate Baking Company, available in the dairy case.
We hope you enjoy our selections for the month, and we'll be back in March for our picks for spring!
Bon Apetit!
