Throw out that spoon and get into the new style of enjoying your yogurt: tilt your head back and drink it out of the bottle! And while you're getting into the new style, be sure to choose a yogurt that's made from pure, organic milk and fruit. This month we're taking time to tell you about two different yogurts.

Trader's Point Yogurt (Available in Maryland, DC, and Virginia locations)
Trader's Point is a family owned and operated dairy in Zionsville, Indiana. The dairy produces its own artisan cheeses, ice cream, milk, and of course, its milk shake-like drinkable yogurt.

Organic milk is flash-pasteurized (never homogenized) and no stabilizers are added. It is blended with organic fruits to create a yogurt that is still decadently thick, but also smooth. Available in Banana Mango, Raspberry, Wild Berry, and Vanilla.

And when you taste Trader's yogurt, you'll taste the authenticity that can only come from a dairy that's run as close to a natural process as it comes. Their cows are given impeccable treatment by the family, they are fed an organic, all-grass diet (precisely what cows were meant to eat), and checked routinely for any signs of illness. And this once again supports the theory that happy, well-fed cows produce milk that turns into overall superior products. It's no wonder, then, that Trader's drinkable yogurt was voted America's best by the American Cheese Society two years in a row.

Ronnybrook Yogurt (Available in New York and Connecticut)
The original "mom and pop" farm in Hudson Valley, New York, Ronnybrook is named after the eldest son of the founders.
Ronnybrook's drinkable yogurt is perfect for those who desire a simple, smooth texture to a dairy-based drink (like a smoothie) but expect a complex flavor from a yogurt. Their yogurts are sweet--both from the chunks of fruit you'll find partly pureed inside, and the organic sugar added--but they're also tangy. The fruit flavor is well-concentrated and adds a level of refreshment that only makes the changing of the seasons all the more pleasant.
