The real Italian ham

Our prosciutto is the real thing! Dry cured from the Parma region of Italy (the same area which produces Parmesan cheese), it has a sweet, earthy, salty flavor and is sliced thin for a delicate texture.

Parma is a city in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy known for its verdant countryside and architecture. It is here that the pigs enjoy a special diet of chestnuts and whey, resulting in meat with a firm, yet tender texture. The ham is then seasoned, salt-cured and air-dried but not smoked.

Our prosciutto is perfect for holiday entertaining! It's great as a starter on an antipasto platter or wrapped around figs or melon for elegant hors d'oeuvres. It's also excellent in cooked dishes and sandwiches.
