As we prepare to bring in a new year, let's begin it with new things. New habits, new philosophies, new coffee...yes, that's right, new coffee! This month, Balducci's has brought in New York's
Dallis Coffee, with five superb single origin blends from a company with nearly one hundred years in the business. Read more about them in our

For January we are featuring another "local roaster," this one from Washington, DC (operating in two different cities has its advantages).
Mayorga coffees offers superb blends, from Kenya AA to Sumatran Mandheling. Read more about them in our
second article.
We've tasted dozens upon dozens of coffee roasts from all over the U.S. (and Europe). While many are truly great, it's hard to beat the kind of quality and freshness you can get from a great local "micro" roaster. We're glad to make January our unofficial month of local coffee offerings.
