Tea Time Courtesy of Red & Green
While Red & Green is known for its stunning tea wares, it should be equally revered for the intricate and complex teas that its co-founder, Chongbin Zheng, buys straight from the source -- tea farmers in China. Each one is distinctive, offering a unique experience so that it is similar to drinking a fine wine.
Here are the varieties you'll find in stores:
Red & Green Org Silver Needle
Named for the silver-colored down that covers each needle-like bud, this tea originates from Tai Lao Mountain in Fujian Province, where the locals called it "Green Snow Buds." Mild and sweet in flavor, we love the exceedingly fresh aromas that envelope the palate.
$19.99/2.5oz
Red & Green Org Jasmine
Only the youngest shoots of the plant are selected for this jasmine-infused tea. Beautiful aromas of summer flowers and floral flavor are dominant.
$16.99/1.8oz
Red & Green Org Imperial Pu-er
Pu-Er buds are picked in early spring and aged for five years. Traditionally valued for its medicinal properties, this tea offers an earthy aroma, deep brown color and a rich and complex taste.
