Spanish Caramelized Walnuts
A nicely organized cheese platter is always savory and elegant on its own, but the addition of other foods and drink can add artistry to the plate. While fruits, breads, and olives can be great choices, my featured favorite for Thanksgiving are our Caramelized Spanish Walnuts.
Sticky, sweet and crunchy, these walnuts are the perfect foil to the saltiness of blue cheeses and tanginess of goat cheeses. They are also quite addictive as a snack; you might just find your Thanksgiving guests grabbing handfuls before dinner! You can satisfy that craving they'll have for our walnuts by serving them with fresh pears or tossed in a salad.
