Candy February 2008
Dear Food Lover,
All of us in the candy department are particularly excited this month, since this is the time of year when we get to bring you the
richest, most elegant chocolates around. Even if you think you're not a candy lover, you can't help but fall under the spell of a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates.
While our store is glittered with many beautiful chocolates for Valentine's Day, we've taken some time to tell you about three particularly stunning ones. We know you will be especially pleased by the items we've chosen to feature this month.
The first is our collection of
Joseph Schmidt Truffles. Known for his lavish chocolate sculptures, Schmidt puts his aesthetic prowess and great love for chocolate to delicious use. Indulge your senses in our
first article.
The Neuhaus Valentine's Day Collection is the focus of our
second article, but rest assured, it is only its placement in the sequence that makes it secondary. For 150 years, Neuhaus has been a pioneer in the fine art of "rapture by chocolate."
Finally we have our
Scharffen Berger Chocolate Bars. They are a
first-tier chocolate manufacturer, meaning they oversee every step of their product's creation, from sourcing the cacao beans to molding the bars. These are perfect for your post-Valentine's Day chocolate fix, or as an alternative to our more ornate boxes of holiday chocolate. And, since Scharffen Berger Bars will be on sale the entire month, you'll have plenty of opportunities to sample!
Don't wait a moment longer! Lose yourself in satiny chocolate with just a few clicks of your mouse...then come in to our stores and have the real thing.
Wishing you a very sweet holiday,
Al Romero
