Dear Food Lover,

With the holidays behind us and the winter season in full swing, we're craving those foods that are rich, warm, and comforting. And what better place to find them than in the bakery? For the month of January, I've compiled a list of treats that are a perfect dessert after a hearty winter meal, or are a pleasant complement to a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

The first is our Brazilian double chocolate cake. In case you're wondering, yes, it does taste as good as it sounds! Read more about it in the first article.

If your cup of coffee or tea seems lonely, maybe you should pair it up with Alberto's Sicilian cookies. These lightly sweetened, chewy cookies are a sophisticated treat that's full of flavor. It's hard to believe that they're trans fat and cholesterol free! Read more in my second article.

While our double chocolate cake is wonderful served as an after-dinner indulgence, you can also have your chocolate fix while on the go. Take a look at Greyston brownies in the last article; they're new to our stores and quite addictive!
